I've always had a soft spot for Maya Rudolph of SNL and Bridesmaids fame. She's hilarious in every project she works on and, if she jumped on the comedians writing novels bandwagon à la Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, I'd happily wait in line for a copy.
So, I was excited to see an outtakes clip of Maya Rudolph and Martin Short's new weekly variety show, Maya & Marty. In the scenes, Maya plays Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, dressed to the nines, talking to her assistant in the back of a car. I laughed out loud when Maya-as-Anna described a nighttime crepe-eating incident, which sounded just like something Nicole would say. (“I went to the kitchen and made crepes. And then ate about sixteen crepes. And then went back to bed, only to wake up with a chef’s hat on.”)
Watch the scene below, if you'd like.
